The objective

of the Religious Education program at St. John the Baptist is to give students K-5th grade a strong start in their faith formation within a classroom setting. Our catechists seek to provide a safe, fun and age-appropriate space for the children to flourish in their understanding of our beautiful faith. Please note, Religious Ed. is a requirement for Reconciliation and First Communion candidates that are not currently enrolled in a Catholic School.

Many people of all different ages serve as catechists for Elementary Religious Education. You don't have to be an "expert" or "angel" for this role: you just need a love of God and eagerness to share your faith. If you are a high school student, young adult, parent, grandparent, or anywhere in between, and would like to serve our youngest disciples, please contact Jessica Gardner for more information! We are always in need of those who can serve our youth!

For Parents

Parent letter and other information will become available after the close of the 2016-2017 registration.

Give yourself fully to God.

He will use you to accomplish great things on the condition that you believe much more in His love than in your own weakness.
